So what do you need to do to start to shift your ‘pricing mindset’? Here is what I call the 3 C's, and they may apply to other areas of your life as well.
1) Clarity. It is always the first step, because if you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there. But if you are clear about what you want and where you want to go, it's so much easier to plan the shortest, straightest path to get you there.
2) Confidence. It's about believing that you can rely on yourself, trust yourself and feeling certain about your own truth (your own intuition), even if no one else agrees or can see your vision. Sometimes you just have to trust yourself, more than the doubt that you (in your mind) or anyone else can throw at you. YOU know best what's right for you and your family.
3) Communication. It is the key to building any kind of relationship. In the beauty business, as in almost every business, it's all about relationships. So, honestly, you get the opportunity to practice almost every day. And to practice sharing how you're enhancing your education, why you've chosen the products you use and how they help with the challenges your client is experiencing, as well as, what you have coming up next to make their experience with you even better.
